24 12 30 Special Board Meeting Minutes

The December 30, 2024 Town of Oulu Special Board Meeting was called to order at 8:07am at the Town Hall by Chair Jonathan Hamilton.

Members present: Ed Burhans, Jon Hamilton, Adam Mattson, Diana Reijo, clerk, Margie Lahti, treasurer.

Budget adjustments:

Motion by Mattson, second by Burhans to adopt the following resolution:

Whereas, the Town Board of the Town of Oulu, Bayfield County, Wisconsin, has determined that it is necessary to change the 2024 budget; and

Whereas, the proposed changes have been reviewed and discussed by the Town Board; and

Whereas, a two-thirds majority vote of the Town Board is required for the adoption of this resolution;

Now, therefore, be it resolved that the Town Board of the Town of Oulu hereby adopts the changes to the 2024 budget as presented:

$4,651.08 from Revenue - Other Financing Sources to Culture, Recreation & Park

$1,227 from Revenue - Other Financing Sources to Miscellaneous in General Government,

$263.22 from Revenue - Other Financing Sources to Health & Human Services

$5,676.18 from Revenue - Other Financing Sources to Highway Machinery in Public Works,

$3,673.34 from Revenue - Other Financing Sources to Highway Maintenance in Public Works,

$5,782.38 from Revenue - Other Financing Sources to Sanitary Landfill in Public Works

Total $21,273.20

Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.

Adopted this 30th day of December 2024 by a two-thirds majority vote of the Town Board.

Ambulance/Fire Contract:

Motion by Mattson, second by Burhans to approve the 2025 ambulance ($12,922.30) and fire ($15,747.11) contracts with the Town of Iron River. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.

Motion by Hamilton to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 8:10am.
