Request for Proposal (RFP)
for Scrap Metal at Oulu Recycling Center
Notice of Invitation: The Town of Oulu is inviting contractors to submit a proposal
for accepting scrap metal at the Town of Oulu Recycling Center (74200 Boulevard
Rd, Iron River, WI)
We are looking for 1 20-yard roll-off container to be onsite.
Include disposal/dump/tipping fees and if there is a charge for non-scrap material.
How often will the roll-off container be emptied or will we need to call you?
Will you accept Non-Freon appliances as scrap metal (ex. washers, dryers, stoves)?
Include items that are not acceptable to be placed in a container (ex. Freon appliances, be specific).
How much will you pay the Town of Oulu for the metals/scrap?

proposals is March 6, 2023. Proposals will be discussed at the regular Town
Board meeting on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 6:45 pm at the Oulu Town Hall.
The town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the proposals or part
thereof as determined to be most advantageous to the town.
