Asphalt Patching Bid Notice

The Town of Oulu is soliciting sealed bids for asphalt patching of culverts at 5 crossing locations on Airport Road between East View Road and County Trunk Highway (CTH) B within the Town of Oulu. Construction by a contractor will involve minor excavation then filling with Dense Aggregate 1 ¼-inch gravel and compaction as necessary up to the base of the existing asphalt, and patching with hot-mix asphalt to level the existing pavement. Work by the contractor will involve only asphalt patching, and only traffic control to allow local access if needed. A certificate of insurance is required.

The Town will close the road and provide any needed detour signage for the duration of construction.

All bids must be prepared on the form provided for that purpose and submitted in accordance to the Instructions to Bidder.

Mail sealed bids to Town of Oulu, Diana Reijo, Clerk, 71530 Hoover Line Road, Iron River, WI 54847, you may hand deliver them to the clerk by 5pm, April 15, 2025, or deliver them to the board meeting. Bids will be opened at the regular board meeting held on Monday, April 14, 2025, 6:45pm.

The Town of Oulu reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to accept bids most advantageous to the Town of Oulu.
