25 12 10 Regular Board Meeting Agenda

The December 10, 2025 Town of Oulu regular board meeting was called to order by Jonathan Hamilton, Chair at 6:45pm at the Town Hall.

Roll Call

Members present: Jon Hamilton, Adam Mattson, Duane Reijo, Diana Reijo, Clerk, and Marla Lahti, Treasurer. Town employee/s: Mike Davidson & Jeremy Gordon.

Approval of Agenda

Motion by Reijo, second by Mattson to approve the agenda as printed and posted. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.

Consent Agenda

• Approve general fund vouchers 15132-15158 and ACH 819-832

• November 12, 2025 Regular Board Meeting and November 17, 2025 Budget Committee Meeting, and December 2, 2025 Special Board Meeting

Motion by Mattson, second by Reijo to approve the consent agenda as presented. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.

Treasurer’s Report

General $157,527.76 and Tax Account $$2,756.09

Chairman’s Report

Roads

• Snow plowing has started, roads and driveways, as needed

• Town employees picked up the Peterbilt truck from United Truck Body. There were several items that needed to be repaired. The truck frame and read-end were painted and undercoated

• Routine and preventative maintenance on town equipment

• All off-season equipment was stored for winter

• 5 loads of salt / sand from the county were delivered

• Heaters in the town hall were repaired

• Closed up the park, power back on for Christmas tree lighting by the 4-H

Other

• WTA unit meeting Mark Ables-Allison went over the County newsletter

• Presentation was given by the County Recreational Officer

New Business

Election Inspectors

Motion by Reijo, second by Mattson to appoint Barbara Tapani, Bonnie Rantala, Kimberly Hamilton, Carol Kangas, and Diana Reijo as election inspectors to serve a two-year term beginning January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2027. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.

Correspondence

• Bayfield County Board of Supervisors – Ordinance No. 2025-12 Title 5, Chapter 11

  Discharge of Firearms in Certain Locations

• WisDOT – Notification of Roadway Improvement Located on WIS 13 from County

  Highway A in Port Wing west to the Bayfield-Douglas County Line

• December 29,2025 - Special Board Meeting - 8am

• January 14, 2026 – Regular Board Meeting 6:45pm. Bills will be reviewed at 6:30pm
