The Town of Oulu is seeking a full/part-time Assistant Road Person (Preference given to full-time applicant). This position involves a variety of tasks including, construction, maintenance, and repairs to the municipal town roads, streets, culverts, facilities and equipment, parks and building maintenance, plowing town roads and contracted driveways.
This position requires a CDL for the operation of dump trucks, plows, and heavy equipment such as a front-end loader, backhoe, and road grader. Also requires the operation of hand tools, motorized equipment, mowers, tractors, and various other equipment. Employees in this position are expected to exercise good judgment in work methods and planning detail, a willingness to work well with others under stressful weather conditions, and the ability to problem-solve on the fly.
