02 22 2025 Special Board Meeting Minutes

The February 22, 2025 Town of Oulu special board meeting was called to order by Jonathan Hamilton, Chair at 9:08am at the Town Hall.

Roll Call: Members present: Jon Hamilton, Ed Burhans, Adam Mattson, Diana Reijo, Clerk and Mar-gie Lahti, treasurer.

Approval of Agenda: Motion by Mattson, second by Burhans to approve the agenda as printed and posted. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.

New Business:

Purchase of Pick Up Truck and Stainless Steel Box for Peterbilt

Margie Lahti, treasurer presented loan options for purchasing a pickup truck and stainless steel dump box for the Peterbilt truck. Motion by Mattson, second by Burhans to approve the purchase of a 1-ton pickup truck (2022 or newer) and a stainless steel dump box the Peterbilt truck not to exceed $100,000 for both. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.

Town board compiled specs for Request for Proposals for the pickup and clerk will email and/or mail specs to local auto dealers with a deadline of noon on March 12, 2025. Proposals will be opened at the March 12, 2025 regular board meeting.
